IT is that time of the year when hay fever sufferers see their symptoms flare up prompting that fight to find the perfect remedy.

It is now hay fever season as the North East especially has been going through a period of "very high" pollen levels in the past week.

It means that hay fever sufferers in the region have been among those in the country who are likely to feel more of the effects than normal.

The Nuage hay fever wipes, which claim to provide instant relief from allergy symptoms, have had rave reviews on social media.

Suitable for your hands and face, the wipes claim to trap dust and other allergens that can cause hay fever to flare up particularly bad.

On Amazon, the product gets 4.4 out of five based on more than 1,300 reviews left by hay fever sufferers. 

Meanwhile a post on social media has seen hundreds of people comment, suggesting the product helps alleviate their symptoms. 

One person said: "I bought some of these today, the first time I have seen them and on my behalf I can say they work."

Another said: "I got these last year was going through a pack a day in end I got tablets from the docs as over counter ones weren't working I suffer so bad."

Meanwhile another commented on its price and said: "A cheap product that actually works (for me anyway!)."
