NORTH Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) has announced new menus featuring seasonal and locally-sourced dishes as well as a new chef to complement the return of its popular Pullman dining services.
Following the successful launch of the Pullman services for the 2021 season, the NYMR has now announced the new July dates for the dining experience through the North York Moors National Park.
The Pullman diner service departs from Grosmont Station and operates Thursday to Sunday every week.
The new dishes include a Moorlander Lunch which features starters such as watermelon and feta salad, homemade chilled pea and chervil soup and main courses including roast topside of beef and vegetable and cheese gratin.
The NYMR has also welcomed a new chef to its Pullman crew.
Kyle Lennox brings a wealth of catering experience to the Pullman Dining Service having previously run his own cafe business, worked in high end bistros and a popular cafe and even catered for weddings of up to 120 guests.
In addition to his prestigious catering qualifications, Kyle has also attended a cookery course at River Cottage.
Colin Kitching, Pullman Chef at NYMR, said: “Kyle is already instrumental to the team and has introduced some exciting ideas that we can’t wait to unveil. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to experience the incredible journey with us once more.”
