FOOTBALL fans have reacted after police said that a Euros fan zone could not go ahead.
In a Facebook post the Blue Bell Hotel, in Middlesbrough, said: "We are very sorry to announce that the fan zone will not go ahead due the Police will not allow it.
"Such a shame."

The moves was met by a mixed reaction with hundreds of comments on the post.
On Facebook, Maureen Thompson, said: "Just for this year can’t they not just watch at home"
Responding, Lyndsey Konya, said: "That's what everyone said last year! How many years do people have to sacrifice their lives and jobs?"
Martin Waller said: "Considering the R rate has gone above 1 today and that was the condition of lifting lockdown last year it’s a pretty sensible idea"
Megan Greasby said: "Good why should people be allowed to crowd round watching a game of football yet I can't visit my sick gran in hospital"
Elizabeth Greet-was Sewell said: "It’s a shame just had a lovely afternoon there great food and good pint"
