A MAN is in critical condition in hospital after being found in Darlington with a serious head injury last night.
Detectives are appealing for information about the incident which is believed to have occurred at around 9.30pm last night when the man was found outside flats on Park place.
He was taken to James Cook University hospital with serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The 27-year-old is described as wearing a black jacket with a white Puma logo on the chest, a long sleeve burgundy top with stripes across the chest underneath, blue jeans and tan shoes.
Officers are now keen to speak to people in the area of the time of the incident or anyone with CCTV/Dashcam footage.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Darlington CID on 101 quoting incident number 54 of May 18.
