MANY people across the North-East will remember soft play adventures at Mister Twisters or chatting to other parents as their child climbed, slid and rolled through the huge warehouse - and one former site is now up for grabs.

Scott and Victoria Hillary's idea for a safe play area for children grew into a multi-million-pound industry.

The couple opened Mister Twisters in 2000, bringing an indoor adventure playground for children to the Number One Industrial Estate in their home town of Consett, County Durham.

Seized upon by parents, the ball pits, climbing frames, tunnels and colourful bouncy castles soon became a staple of childhood and Mister Twisters grew across the region.

But one former soft play site on Teesside is now up for grabs for £475,000, having closed some years ago.

It has since been used as a warehouse, with little resemblance to the site it once was except for the Mister Twisters sign.

The warehouse is on Parkview Road West, close to Brenda Road on the established Parkview Industrial Estate, Hartlepool.

It is being marketed by Connect Property North East
