THE Station Cinema is reopening on May 17, bringing the return of Hollywood to Richmond.

The team have been hard at work curating an exclusive selection of award-winning cultural films to welcome audiences back as part of the ‘Unlocked’ film festival.

12 films have been carefully selected including recent Academy Award-winning films Nomadland and Miniari, along with critically acclaimed releases from Norwegian, French and Russian cinema.

The second festival in less than a year is a testament to the ever-growing commitment of the Station Cinema to ensuring its audiences can enjoy a wide variety of cultural entertainment you cannot see anywhere else in the region.

From drama, comedy, thrillers to documentaries there is a varied selection to appeal to all tastes.

Running from May 17 to May 30, a full festival listing can be found via the website and tickets are already selling fast.

Peter Rabbit 2 will also be showing alongside these films as it hops onto the big screen releasing May 17 and a perfect family film to enjoy.

Social distancing arrangements, Covid safety measures and fresh air ventilation continue to be in place to ensure audience safety per government guidelines.

Thanks to friends at the The Station Café|Bar, cinema goers can show their tickets to receive an exclusive 20 per cent discount from their bill after 4pm until June 30.
