A LAND Rover was set alight and a front door was shot at in Middlesbrough, prompting police to appeal for witnesses.
It happened at 12.25am on Tuesday on Netherfields Crescent.
A black Land Rover was set alight in a residential driveway and officers also discovered that the front door of the same property had been fired at.
Fortunately, the property was unoccupied at the time of the incidents.
Police are looking into whether the two incidents are linked and witnesses, CCTV and dash cam footage are now being sought from members of the public in area around Netherfields Crescent between midnight and 12.30am Tuesday morning.
