A BROKEN down train is causing delays on the East Coast Main Line this morning.
The freight train broke down between Darlington and Durham.
As a result of this, trains between York and Newcastle may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.
This is expected until about 11am, according to National Rail Enquiries.
