FIREFIGHTERS freed a mother and son after their car rolled on its side.
They were not hurt during the potentially serious road traffic accident in County Durham at the weekend.
It happened on Saturday on the A688, outside Raby Castle, between Barnard Castle and Bishop Auckland.
The incident was attended by crews from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
A spokesman said: "Thankfully both occupants, mother and son, were released with no injuries and the boy was laughing and smiling as he was carried out by our firefighters.
"Please take care folks and avoid distractions whilst driving."
