lIn road closures this week, Darlington Borough Council have announced the temporary road closure of South View in Heighington from its junction with Darlington Road westwards to the east side of its junction with Garthlands. An alternative route will be signposted.

lDarlington Borough Council also announced the temporary order of a one-way system along Millbank in Heighington from a point 10 metres south of Hopelands junction northwards to the south side of its junction with The Orchard.

lDurham County Council have announced the temporary footpath and footbridge closure for Boltsburn Min Footbridge and Prow footpath from the meeting point with footpath 41 at the south westerly side of the closure in a North Easterly direction to enable repair works to the footbridge structure to be undertaken.

lDurham County Council have also announced the intention to dispose of multiple open spaces as follows: 10.5 square metres of land adjacent to 20 Woodlands, Seaham. 547.05 square metres of land at Cold Hesledon Industrial Estate, Seaham. 178.01 square metres of land adjacent to two Collier Close in Crook. 40.5 square metres of land adjacent to 50 Hambleton Road, Coundon and 11082.857 square metres of land at Green Hill Industrial Estate.

lThe department of transport have also announced the stopping up of a part-width of Windsor Terrace comprising of the verge, adjacent to the allotment gardens at Bishop Auckland in County Durham. This is to enable a development as permitted by Durham County Council.

lMiddlesbrough Council have announced they have designated North Ormesby Ward as an area for Selective Landlord Licensing. Meaning that all private landlords in the area are required to obtain a licence from the council.
