LIBRARIES in North Yorkshire are offering more support for those preparing for a British citizenship test or Life in the UK test.

One of the latest additions to North Yorkshire County Council library service’s digital offer is Go Citizen, an online study resource for candidates preparing for either of the tests.

It is an online version of the latest official study materials licensed from the Home Office, the people who write the handbook, with hundreds of practice test questions in the same format as the official test.

Cllr Greg White, executive member for libraries, said: “The library service provides an extensive suite of resources, from e-books to encyclopaedias, magazines to business start-up guides. Over the past year, it has responded to the challenges posed by the pandemic to further develop and deliver an excellent online service to the people of North Yorkshire. Go Citizen is a valuable addition and a sign of the service’s commitment to continuing to expand and innovate the digital support that complement the physical resources available in our network of libraries.”
