Woman trampled by horse at Redcar Racecourse
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after she was kicked and trampled on by a racehorse.
The incident happened this afternoon at Redcar Racecourse.
A spokesperson from the racecourse said: “We can confirm a groom was taken to James Cook University Hospital for assessment after being kicked and trampled by a horse in the parade ring”
Witnesses said she was treated by paramedics at the scene.
