A HOUSING developer teamed up with a camera club to celebrate stunning spots in Ripon and the Yorkshire Dales to celebrate National Parks Fortnight.

Harron Homes collaborated with Ripon City Camera Club to share the most picturesque spots in both the market town where its Bishop’s Glade development is located, and of the nearby Dales.

Harron also donated £200 to the Three Peaks Project, which will go towards maintaining trails conservation in the National Park.

Ripon City Camera Club submitted a mixture of pictures encapsulating the area, including the famous cathedral, to stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.

To thank the club for their role in highlighting the area, Harron donated a projector screen to the village hall, enabling them to host photography presentation evenings when possible.

Suzanne Lamb of Ripon City Photography Society added said: "This was a fantastic opportunity to combine our passion for photography with our amazing home area and it’s lovely to have our skills recognised and to share our hard work with the world."

She added that the club was grateful for the projector.
