Scott Bain 6

Had no chance with either Rangers goal in the first-half. Didn't have much else to do as Rangers were content to manage the game after the break.

Jonjoe Kenny 4

Did not provide an attacking threat for his side as he seemed to fear Rangers' attackers taking advantage of the space in behind. At a club like Celtic that doubt can't happen. Scored own goal to sum up poor afternoon.

Kris Ajer 5

Could arguably have provided more cover for Laxalt at Gers' second goal and missed decent opportunity in first-half. Saw a lot of the ball as Celtic inexplicably slowed game down despite chasing.

Stephen Welsh 5

Had head in his hands after missing gilt-edge chance. Will wonder how on earth he's managed not to, at least, get it on target. Composed enough at the back but should have been carded before opener for foul on Kent. Free inside the Gers box in second-half, too, but blasted over.

Diego Laxalt 3

Dreadful showing for Uruguayan. Beaten all ends up by Aribo for second goal and rightfully hooked at half-time. The less said, the better.

Scott Brown 5

Looked a bit off the pace as the game started frantically. Played Davis onside for first goal and booked in second-half.

Ryan Christie 5

Looked interested early but faded as the game went on. Never afraid to have a strike from distance but didn't have his shooting boots on. Didn't seem to like Rangers' fast press. Subbed.

Callum McGregor 6

Tried his best to dictate tempo in the midfield and did well early doors with some driving runs forward alongside the more creative of his teammates. Unlucky not to test Allan McGregor with a deflected shot but his game slowed down as time ticked on.

David Turnbull 6

Always wants hold of the ball and was given more freedom in the second-half as Rangers sat back and allowed their opponents to grow into the game. Forced McGregor into a fine save just seconds after the restart and constantly looking to go forward with the ball as opposed to some Celtic players who are content with sideways and backwards passes.

Mohamed Elyounoussi 5

Quiet until the second-half when he put the ball on a plate for Edouard who missed before blowing a massive opportunity of his own with a horrible first-touch.

Odsonne Edouard 4

His confidence looks shot. Often looked like he was trying to do far too much and second-guessing himself. Tries, at times, to score the perfect goal when a tap-in would suffice - but squandered a tap-in when he blazed over from six yards. Missed a penalty to compound the misery.

Subs

Greg Taylor 4 (on for Laxalt, 46)

Provided a more steady defensive option for Celtic after the break. Put in a decent cross for Edouard who should have struck first-time but delayed.

Leigh Griffiths 4 (on for Christie, 73)

Did well to win his side a penalty and showed his desire to net when he begged to take it. Probably should have been handed the ball as Edouard missed.

Albian Ajeti N/A (on for Elyounoussi, 86)

Genuinely don't think he touched the ball.
