MIDDLETON Lodge Estate's Coach House Restaurant has reopen for outdoor dining this week.

The restaurant, recently recognised by the Michelin Guide for its commitment to sustainable gastronomy, has reopened with a new estate-inspired spring menu.

Guests with a reservation will be able to dine in the restaurant’s Georgian courtyard, with its leafy green borders and views over the estate’s patchwork parkland.

A stretch tent has been positioned over the outdoor space to protect diners from any unexpected April showers. Heaters will create a warm and inviting setting for both lunch and dinner guests.

When it comes to the menu, diners can expect a fresh take on flavours. It’s a celebration of seasonal ingredients, picked daily from the estate’s gardens and greenhouses, together with produce supplied by the neighbouring farming community and local suppliers. Delicious, natural and local.

New wines have been selected to accompany the fresh flavours of the menu, together with light local ales and an ever-changing spring garden cocktail menu.

James Allison, owner of Middleton Lodge Estate, said: “Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do on the estate, from the restoration of each building to ensuring we can sustain our restaurants using as much produce as possible from the estate. We also work closely with local suppliers, supporting their traditional farming methods and reducing all food miles.”

“After a long third lockdown, we’re looking forward to the re-opening of the outdoor dining area at the Coach House and the launch of the new menu.”

Reservations for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the outdoor dining area can be made now. Diners must make a reservation ahead of arrival. Table service will take place for all diners, and tables are positioned 2m apart to allow for safe social distancing at all times. Rule of six applies.
