AN outdoor event due to be held last September is to go ahead in the grounds of Thirsk Hall on Saturday, July 10.
The aim is to stage a concert which will attract people of all ages. The opening act for the evening is PURE 80s, with Michelle and Sarah Fearnley.
Before lockdown, Sarah was frequently seen singing with Jason Donavan.
Also appearing will be the Complete Stone Roses, along with The Paul Weller Connection, who cover every period of Weller’s musical career from the Jam through to his current releases. Special guests will be Le Freak, a tribute to Nile Rogers and CHIC.
To finish off the event with a bang there will be a fireworks finale. Organisers say it will be a family event with food stalls, children's entertainment, fairground rides and a bar.
Gates open at 3pm, for information see www.thirsklive.uk
