POLICE are urgently looking for a man who was last seen taking his dog for a walk.

Mike Boland, 55, has been reported as missing from his home in Marske.

He was last seen at about 8.30am in the Sherwood Drive area. 

Cleveland Police, which has issued an appeal to find him, said he left home to walk his dog potentially in the area of Marske/Saltburn beach but he may also have gone towards local woodland.

Mr Boland is described as a white male, 5ft 9in tall with light grey coloured hair, a light grey white beard and moustache. He is of stocky build.

He is thought to be wearing a dark green khaki waterproof jacket, possibly beige trousers and walking boots.

He may also be wearing a black hat.

His dog is a white and brown Jack Russell with a red collar.

Police are concerned for Mr Boland’s welfare and ask anyone who has seen him or has information to assist to please contact police on 101, quoting event 055667.
