The following cases were heard at Teesside and Cleveland Magistrates court this week.

ADAM VAYRO, 29 of Millfield Road in Stockton was fined £1,538 after committing fraud and made a gain through the purchasing of goods to the value of £264.93, and on separate occasion making a gain of £480 through fraud. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £154 to victim services and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MISS TONI CLAIRE RIDDELL, 36 of Frederick Street in Middlesbrough was given a community order after stealing coffee and cleaning products to the value of £41.44 belonging to B&M, stealing toiletries, baby products and chocolate to the value of £65 from B&M and breaking a bail condition. These crimes were committed during the operation of a conditional discharge. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £95 to victim services and £40 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR TYLER JAMES DAVIDSON, 24 of Swale Road in Stockton was fined £80 after causing harassment and threatening someone and damaging a window belonging to Toby Carvery. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £200 in compensation and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR DAVID GIBSON, 37 of Austen Avenue in Sunderland, was fined £180 after stealing three bottles of Jack Daniels and one roll of tine foil to the value of £76.50 belonging to Morrison’s and stealing two fragrances to the value of £260 from Boots. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £85 to Crown Prosecution Service

MR CONNOR ROBSON, 24 of Parklands Avenue in Billingham was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months and given six points on his licence after assaulting a man and driving without insurance. The reason for imprisonment was due to an unprovoked and sustained attack. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £100 in compensation and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR GEORGE LADYMAN, 21 of Deepdene Grove in Redcar was given a community order after assaulting a police officer by beating them and threatening someone. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £100 in compensation and £200 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR JAMIE MATTHEW MCNAMARA, 32 of Braid Crescent in Billingham was fined £280 and disqualified from driving for 36 months after being caught behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence to drive that class of vehicle. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £34 to victim services and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR DANIEL FENWICK , 25 of Falkirk Street in Thornaby was fined £230 and given a community order and disqualified from driving for 6 months after driving without a licence, failing to give their name and address to a police constable, causing an accident while driving after failing to stop and driving without due care and attention. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £95 to victim services and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

RACHEL MICHAEL, 28 of Motherwell Road in Hartlepool was committed to prison for 3 months suspended for 12 months after threatening police with a knife and being caught in possession of the knife. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £128 to victim services and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR JOSHUA ROBERT EDWARD O’BEIRNE, 24 of Danby Grove in Seaton Carew was given a community order after assaulting three police officers. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £150 in compensation.

MR MARK JORDAN, 51 of Westbourne Street in Stockton was committed to prison for 12 months after assaulting a paramedic two men and four police officers, damaging a police vehicle and using threatening behaviour. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £128 to victim services.

MR ALEXANDER BOLTON, 37 of Stotfold Street in Hartlepool was committed to prison for 20 weeks and disqualified from driving for four years after being caught behind the wheel under the influence of cocaine, driving whilst being disqualified, driving without insurance and onn a separate occasion, driving under the influence of cocaine, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. He also failed to comply with a community order. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £128 to victim services and £85 to Crown Prosecution Service.

MR PAUL CLIFFORD HARRISSKITT, 48 of Tankerville Street in Hartlepool was committed to prison for six weeks after being in the possession of a bladed article in public, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £6.00 from Sainsbury’s, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £5.75 from Sainsbury’s, stealing two bottles of wine to the value of £12 from Spar Stores, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £6 from Sainsbury’s, stealing another bottle of wine of an unknown value from Sainsbury’s, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £6.50 from McColl’s, stealing a bottle of cider to the value of £4 from McColl’s, stealing two pack of Fosters Larger to the value of £19 belonging to McColl’s, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £6.00 from Sainsbury’s PLC, stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £6.00 from Sainsbury’s, stealing a pack of Heineken to the value of £10 from McColl’s and stealing two packs of desperados to the value of £16 from McColl’s.
