POLICE are appealing for members of the public to come forward following a Hartlepool assault.
Police are appealing for two members of the public to assist in their investigation of an assault in Hartlepool.
Officers were called to a report of an assault on Powlett Road on Saturday (April 3) at around 2.30pm.
It was reported that a man aged-19 was approached by a grey Nissan Juke with a woman driver, a man exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim by punching him in the face causing him to fall to the floor.
At the time of the incident it is believed two people assisted the victim and officers are appealing for these people to come forward as they may be able to assist officers with enquiries.
Anyone else who witnessed the assault or has dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 052080.
