PRIMARK has revealed its opening times for stores across the North-East from next week - as it has introduced extended shopping sessions at some sites.

The high street chain, which has stores in Gateshead's Metrocentre, Newcastle and Middlesbrough, has unveiled its reopening plans.

From a fresh new range of spring and summer collections to extended opening times, the chain has said it is ready to welcome customers back.

It said it had introduced a new season update to its homewares, beauty and accessories - hinting that its Disney range has been refreshed too.

Paul Marchant, Primark CEO, said: “It’s great to be back. Our stores are fully stocked with fresh new season fashion, all at Primark’s famous amazing prices.

"Between our great value, everyday must-haves and hot new season trend collections, we’ve got everything our customers have been waiting for.

"Safety remains at the front of our minds. We have extended opening hours across almost all of our stores to help meet demand safely but we’re also asking our customers to keep up the support and spirit they showed last year, particularly if queuing outside or in-store.”

Primark said safety remains its number one priority so employees and customers can return to stores with "confidence."

It says its maintaining the same high safety standards that it has had in place in its stores over the past year.
