The North Yorkshire Moors Railway says they have a wide range of permanent and seasonal vacancies for staff from a Human Resources Manager to a Shop Supervisor and Pullman Chefs. The railway which is run by a charitable trust regularly carries over 350,000 visitors a year on it's 24 mile track across the stunning moors park from Pickering to Whitby.

The railway said the permanent and seasonal vacancies are open as it prepares for the start of the 2021 season. They will join the 100 permanent and 50 seasonal workers who keep the line going with the backing of over 550 volunteers.

A spokesperson added: "We play a crucial role in the local community, providing employment, volunteering and apprenticeship opportunities and programmes to help our visitors understand the important history and heritage of the railway and the North York Moors.
