THE team at Saks Sedbury Hall is celebrating after being shortlisted for the fourth consecutive year for a top award, which they’ve gone on to win for the last two years.

The salon is in the running for Saks Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year at the national Saks Awards, whilst Emma Kearney is also a finalist in the Stylist Image Award category after her hair creation caught the eyes of the judges.

This year saw an unprecedented number of entries from the salon group’s 60 plus salons across the UK, and winners will be announced in an exciting virtual event due to take place later this year.

It’s no mean feat for a salon to be shortlisted for the Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year award as judges take a vast range of criteria into account – including investment in training for staff, client retention, rebooking rates and customer service.

Anna Clinton, owner of Saks Sedbury, said: “It’s been a challenging, bizarre year for everyone. We’ve been busy opening and closing and working hard to ensure we stick to strict hygiene protocols. Being shortlisted for these two coveted awards has created a brilliant buzz within the team when we can’t actually be together."

“It’s like a double whammy of celebrations following the recent announcement that we might be able to reopen on April 12, and we can’t wait to see our clients for some much-deserved pampering.”
