THE World of James Herriot in Thirsk has scooped the Triumph over Adversity Award in the Rural Business Awards 2021.

The awards final, held online for the first time due to lockdown saw BBC Escape to the Country presenter Jules Hudson host the ceremony recognising the efforts of rural businesses during a challenging year.
