A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of eight offences after concerns were raised a community about drugs activities.
Cleveland Police officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood Team and members of the Dog Unit arrested a 27-year-old man in central Stockton.
A moped, knife and class A drugs were seized during the arrest. The seized moped was reportedly being used for drugs activity.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possessing an offensive weapon, driving under the influence of drugs and other driving offences. He remains in custody.
Anyone with information regarding drugs activity in their area is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
