YOUNG number crunchers across the region are preparing to take part in a popular maths challenge tomorrow.
The popular game-based learning programme SplashLearn is staging the first UK edition of its popular SpringBoard Maths Challenge.
It has been rolled out to all regions of the country, including the North-East, running from March 1 until May 9 and is open to classes from Year 1 to Year 6.
Schools can create an account on SplashLearn enabling teachers to enrol their class for SpringBoard 2021.
All problems solved by the students will earn them points to count towards the total class score.
The best performing classes with the highest points win weekly prizes at both the regional and national level.
Winners will be announced at the end of SpringBoard, with prizes worth in excess of £8,000 up for grabs.
Details are available via SplashLearn’s website.
