THREE masked men armed with weapons forced their way into a home and stole £600 in cash from the householder.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident which happened on February 14 at 5.50pm on Stratford Avenue, Grangetown, Sunderland.
One of the armed men demanded money, while the other two men stood outside.
The offenders then made off in a red vehicle, described as either the shape of a Ford Focus, Vauxhall Corsa or VW Golf, in the direction of Matanzas Street.
They stole £600 cash and a mobile phone belonging to the resident.
The victim was uninjured but left shaken by the incident.
