POLICE are appealing for a woman who was acting suspiciously in a Thornaby street to contact them.
Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on Briar Road in Thornaby at around 1.05pm today, Tuesday February 16.
A woman was reported to have been behaving suspiciously in the street.
Officers attended the area and carried out a search for the woman, who was not located, but they would still like to speak to her to understand her behaviour further.
The woman is described as being 5 ft tall with glasses, aged in her 30s with blonde hair with roots and pink, blue and green dye throughout her hair.
She was wearing blue skinny jeans, a blue/grey tracksuit top and ankle boots.
The woman is asked to get in touch with police directly, or anyone who may know her identity is also asked to get in touch with Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 024838.
