TEESSIDE is full of variety, from its industrial parts to having some of the region's best beauty spots - but where is the best part to live?

For decades, Teesside has been at the forefront of the North-East's industrial heritage with the likes of Redcar's SSI and Billingham's ICI in more recent years.

But it hasn't just been industrial, Teesside towns have been known to throw a varied market with Stockton winning best 'large outdoor market' in a top 2018 awards.

The area has also become increasingly known for its mix of old and contemporary new landmarks and attractions such as the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.

Meanwhile, beauty spots including Roseberry Topping, Saltburn beach and Preston Park near Stockton, continue to draw people from far and wide.

But we want to know where you think is the best part of the area to live in by voting in our Northern Echo interactive poll.
