A MISSING man from Northallerton whose disappearance sparked a major search operation has been found safe and well, police confirmed.
The 37-year-old was reported missing after leaving for work on Monday morning, when he failed to attend work or return home.
Police and Cleveland Mountain Rescue were involved in the search, and the appeal was widely shared on social media.
Just before 9pm tonight North Yorkshire Police released a short statement to say: "Good news – the missing Northallerton man we posted about yesterday has been found safe and well. Thank you so much to everyone who shared our appeal to find him."
It is understood he was found in the Sutton Bank area.
