TWO homes in North Yorkshire have been defaced with swastikas.
North Yorkshire Police, which is appealing for information about the incident, said the victims had been left in “considerable distress”.
The incidents happened in Harrogate between 8pm on Sunday and 11am on Monday.
The damage was caused at two homes in Bilton Lane and Trefoil Drive.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police a front door, garage door and car had been spray painted.
They added: “This is an abhorrent image and one that has caused the victims considerable distress.
“Officers are requesting your help and are appealing to anyone who has any information, in particular anyone on the two roads that might have doorbell or household CCTV cameras, to contact the police.”
