A car has been seized by police after it travelled more than 40 miles with no valid licence or insurance.
Eden Police stopped the vehicle on the A66 at Appleby today (January 23).
Travelling in the vehicle were two friends from different households, who were both reported for breaching coronavirus restrictions.
Police said the driver's licence had been revoked and the vehicle was not insured.
The vehicle was also seized by officers.
