AN internationally-successful range of men’s grooming products is set to continue to develop in memory of its founder, with proceeds going towards a men’s mental health charity for which he was an ambassador.

The ‘Let’s ‘Ave It’ range of styling products, created by men’s hair stylist Sam Wall, became a global success after the launch last year, with sales from as far afield as the United States and Far East and many products selling out instantly upon their release.

Tragically, Sam recently passed away aged only 32, after a multi award-winning career, which saw him achieve a series of global accolades and build an international client base.

Now, Sam’s colleagues at Hidden Heights Creative Studio in Gateshead, where he was based for the past four years, have committed to continuing Sam’s product range in his memory.

Profits from the range will be donated to the Lions Barber Collective, a charity which brings together barbers who have been trained in how to recognise symptoms of mental ill health in clients and signpost them to relevant support services.

Sam was a proud ambassador for the Lions Barber Collective and was well-known for his work in supporting men across the North-East and far beyond with their mental health.

The Lions Barber Collective recently announced it was to create a Sam Wall Award, in honour of his commitment to the charity.

Sam’s products will continue to be sold from Hidden Heights Studio, as well as through their online store www.hiddenheightsstudio.com/store

The latest batch of products have also been donated by their supplier free of charge to help raise more vital funds for the charity.

Marie Harkness, owner and founder of Hidden Heights – part of ‘Team HH’ alongside Aimee McPherson, Hayley Crone and the rest of the team – said: “We are still truly heartbroken at the loss of our team mate Sam.

“We miss his presence and laughter everyday in and out of the studio.

“Sam was not only a work colleague but a very close friend of ours. We continue to stay strong, support one another and celebrate his life as best we can.

“Working closely with Sam on the ‘Lets ‘Ave It’ product range was so much fun and it will hold a place in my heart forever.

“I feel it is important for us to continue the legacy of Sam’s product range that is so unique to him and we hope this will keep him in the memory of everyone who knew him.

“We are delighted to be able to donate the proceeds to The Lions Barber Collective. The ongoing success of Sam’s range means we will continue to generate vital funds for the work of The Lions, we hope this will enable Sam and the amazing work he did to be remembered in the most fitting way.”
