A MAN has been treated in hospital after he was reported to have been stabbed in the arm
Another man has been arrested in connection with the incident, which happened in Thornaby on Friday, January 8.
Police are appealing for information following the alleged assault.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said a 23-year-old man was reportedly assaulted in Lingdale Road, Thornaby at about 7.30pm on Friday.
They said: "It is believed the victim was approached by two males (who had exited a dark coloured vehicle) and they reportedly stabbed him in the arm.
"The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and later released."
A 28-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released with bail conditions pending enquiries.
