A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested after police were called to reports of a large number of visitors to a property in Darlington.
Officers were called on Sunday to investigate reports that Covid-19 regulations were being breached.
They attended the property in Locomotive Steet.
A spokesperson for Durham Police said: "At approximately 7.30pm on Sunday, officers attended a house in Locomotive Street, in Darlington to investigate reports that the property had received a large number of visitors.
"While present, officers discovered a quantity of white powder, believed to be cocaine, a quantity of cannabis, a set of scales and a large quantity of suspected counterfeit cash."
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
He has since been released under investigation and inquiries continue.
