A WEDDING photographer has been found guilty of raping a young boy when he was a young teenager himself.
Christopher Todd was also found guilty of two charges of indecent assault on a male person.
The 31-year-old was cleared of one charge of rape of a child under 13 by the jury yesterday afternoon.
The jury at Teesside Crown Court will continue considering its verdict on another charge of rape when they return on Monday morning.
Todd's victim told the jury how he was abused by the defendant when he was visiting his parent's Darlington home when he was either ten or 11.
Judge James Brown released Todd on bail until he returns to court on Monday.
He said: "Despite the verdicts I am prepared to grant you bail again. If you don't turn up you will be committing another offence."
Todd, of Grangeside, Darlington, had pleaded not guilty to the charges which are said to have occurred in the early 2000s.
