POLICE who appealed for information in a search for a missing teenage boy have confirmed he has now been located.
The appeal was made to help to trace Miles Kennedy-Newton, 13, who was previously last seen at his home in Shiney Row, near Houghton-le-Spring, at lunchtime on Thursday, December 17.
He was said to have links to the Consett, Langley Park, Tow Law and Newcastle areas.
Officers from Durham Police have appealed for information and also made a direct appeal to any friends or relatives who may know his whereabouts to get in touch.
But a force spokesperson confirmed today that he has now been located and thanked all those who shared the appeal.
