AN incredible castle in County Durham has gone on the market - and it's the same price as a two-bed flat in London.

The Grade-II listed countryside property in Castle Eden, near Peterlee, has hit the market with a £3m price tag.

Aptly-named 'The Castle', the property features eleven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms and even has its own bar.

It also comes complete with 14 acres of land, including a private gravelled "wrap-around" courtyard, surrounded by the Castle Eden Nature Reserve.

The price tag is the exact equivalent of a two-bed flat on Lowndes Street in the heart of the capital, which offers a kitchen, guest bathroom and reception room.
