Police are appealing for information as they investigate a report of a woman carrying a baby being shot in the shoulder with an air rifle.
The incident occurred at 9.15pm on Saturday (December 5).
The female victim, who was carrying a baby at the time, was walking from Leighton Road to Westcroft Road in Grangetown.
She suffered an injury to her shoulder, suspected to be from an air rifle, but did not require hospital treatment.
The baby was unharmed.
Police investigating the matter have now also received a report of a man being shot in the leg in the same area of Grangetown at around 8pm that day.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information, including dashcam or private CCTV, to contact Eston Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101, reference 198486.
