COMMUNITIES across Teesside are being asked for their views on setting neighbourhood policing priorities.
Cleveland Police has started a consultation to ask people for their views on what their priorities are for their areas.
Superintendent Marc Anderson said: “It is important that we engage with the communities we serve and fully understand what their local priorities around crime and anti-social behaviour are.
“This forms part of listening to people and understanding what is impacting on them on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and helps Cleveland Police allocate targeted resources where needed.”
People from all four local authority areas covered by Cleveland Police – Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Redcar and Cleveland – are invited to take part.
The 'Our Conversation' survey will be used to inform a neighbourhood performance framework, help set local priorities and assess current and future demand, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police said.
The survey can be completed by following the link on the Cleveland Police website.
It opened on December 1 and will run until January 1.
