POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to trace following the theft of a saw valued at £400 from a Seaton Burn store.
On October 13 at around 12.30pm a man walked into Gustharts Chainsaw Centre, Milkhope Centre, and walked back out with the expensive tool without paying.
He was caught on CCTV and police are now asking the public for their assistance in helping locate the suspect.
They have released an image of the man (pictured) and are asking anyone who recognises him to contact them on 101, or through the Northumbria Police website, quoting log 379 131020.
