Cervical screening kits stolen from nurse’s car in Spennymoor
DOZENS of cervical screening kits were stolen from a nurse’s car in Spennymoor overnight on Monday.
Around 100 kits were taken from a Mercedes car in North Road sometime between 7pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday.
The unused kits contain vials of the chemical methanol.
Police have been informed and are appealing for witnesses.
