POLICE officers have charged a 31-year-old man with two counts of possessing a firearm without a certificate and he will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday, January 18 2021.
The alleged charges were made in connection with an incident in Carlin How on Friday, August 21.
As a result of the reported incident, Christopher Kay aged-58 sadly died in hospital after suffering serious injuries.
Mr Kay died in a suspected shooting on Brotton Road.
