POLICE are appealing for information after the bumper of a white Mercedes vehicle was stolen outside a property on the Oval View in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (October 21) at around 7.40pm and it is believed two men are responsible for the theft.
Shortly after the incident a black Audi vehicle was sighted driving with the white bumper attached to its roof.
The Audi was later found and was seized for having no insurance, however, the bumper and the occupants of the vehicle were not located.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information regarding those responsible for the theft or anyone who may have been offered the bumper for sale to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 173268.
