POLICE believe that a spate of crimes in a North Yorkshire village may be connected and are appealing for information.
Over the last few months there have been several vandalism and graffiti incidents in the village of Middleton Tyas in Richmondshire.
Several vehicles have been damaged, a grave attacked and graffiti with offensive words has been spread around the village including the local school gates.
The graffiti first appeared on August 31 and then again on Tuesday this week.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information in connection with the incidents, which are all believed to be connected.
