A FURTHER 715 people have tested positive for Covid in the North-East and North Yorkshire.
A further 43 people who tested positive for coronavirus have also died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 30,005, NHS England said on Wednesday.
Patients were aged between 43 and 98 years old and all except one (aged 72) had known underlying health conditions.
The deaths were between August 22 and September 29.
Five other deaths were reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
