ALL fire engines have now left the scene of a blaze in Birstall after "good work" from fire crews.
A large fire broke out at Birstall barrel manufacturers R. Spivey & Sons yesterday, with the incident first being called in shortly after 3pm.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said that ten different appliances had been sent out to the incident, which they recorded as taking place at Norquest Industrial Estate.
The fire service added that the blaze was linked to a diesel tank.
This morning, a spokesperson from Cleckheaton Fire Station said: "The incident was closed at 12.30am today and there was no further damage.
"Fire crews managed to request the foam unit early doors - once the foam was up and running, it virtually put the incident out very, very quickly.
"It was a fantastic stop and good work by the fire crews."
