DETECTIVES from Redcar CID have this afternoon (Tuesday) charged a 49-year-old man arrested in connection with an alleged arson at the old community centre on Milbank Street in South Bank in the early hours of today.
He has been remanded, to appear at Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday, September 30).

The blaze broke out in the early hours of this morning in the property.
Cleveland Fire Brigade said: "We were called at 2.50am this morning to a fire in a derelict property off Middlesbrough Road, in South Bank.
"Two engines from Grangetown and one from Middlesbrough attended."
