A TEENAGER suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car which drove away from the scene before police arrived.
Cleveland Police are appealing for information after the incident on Valley Road in Middlesbrough today, Monday, September 28.
It occurred at 7.55am when a white Ford motor vehicle collided with a 16-year-old female pedestrian.
The driver of the Focus left the scene before the police arrived and officers are appealing for the driver come forward.
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
Any witnesses with information or anyone with dash cam footage are asked to contact PC Andy Pitts on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the event number 158979.
