Police have seized counterfeit cigarettes and two people were arrested for separate offences in Thornaby.
On Saturday (September 26), officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood Team executed a warrant with Trading Standards at a shop on Havelock Street in Thornaby.
A number of counterfeit cigarettes were seized from the address (shown in the image).
In two other separate incidents on the same day, officers from Stockton NPTs also:
- Stopped and searched a man and seized a small amount of class A drugs. The man aged 33 was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs and released under investigation pending further enquiries
- Another man aged 31 was arrested between Archer Street/Mandale Road on suspicion of breaching his bail conditions.
