TWO members of staff at a B&M store have tested positive for coronavirus, the retail chain has confirmed.
The two employees at the store in Delves Lane, Consett, who live in the same household, are now self-isolating.
The retailer says it is following Government guidelines and has an 'enhanced cleaning regime' in place.
A B&M spokesperson said: "Two of our colleagues, who live in the same household, tested positive for Covid-19, and they are now self-isolating in accordance with Government guidelines.
"The store receives a regular enhanced cleaning regime and is following the Government’s Track and Trace regime."
The chain has a range of social distancing and safety measures in place across all its sites, including providing hand sanitiser and protective screens at checkouts.
People are also required to wear face masks in shops.
